Lisa grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is a first-generation attorney. In 2017, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida.
Prior to law school, Lisa clerked at the Public Defender’s Office in the Eighth Judicial Circuit, where she provided litigation support in felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases. She also worked as a graduate research assistant at UF’s Samuel Proctor Oral History Program, conducting research for the African American History Project, one of the largest public history archives in the nation.
Lisa graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2023, earning her J.D. with a concentration in Elder Law. During her time at Stetson, she served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Rebecca Morgan’s Trusts & Estates course and was a Judicial Extern for Magistrate Keela Samis, in the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Probate and Guardianship Division.
During her free time, Lisa enjoys cooking with friends and family, gardening, and horseback riding.
